Dwangwa aims 35 points to survive relegation

Dwangwa United climbed out of the relegation zone after a 2-0 win over fellow relegation-threatened Chitipa United United over the weekend.

The victory saw them two steps up on the league table from position 14 to 12 with 22 points, the team aims for 35 points to survive the relegation.

With their unbeaten run in 3 games, team manager Davie Mwandira believes that his side has re-discovered a new formula that will enable them to reach their target of 35 points in the remaining games.

“We are now looking beyond surviving relegation in the TNM super league. we want to finish with at least 35 points and in top 10.

“We are not beaten in our last three fixtures which is a good sign that if we maintain it we will survive relegation,” said Mwandira.

In their next TNM super league fixture, Dwanga host Red Lions at Chitowe stadium on Sunday 15th October 2017.
