Blantyre based giants Nyasa Big Bullets says they have respected decision made by Former Jomo Cosmos star Mecium Mhone to sign for Blue eagles Football club.
Recently Mhone was said to have agreed terms to sign with the peoples team but over the sudden signed with his former team Blue eagles and was appointed Captain of the side.
Reacting to Mhone’s saga, Nyasa Big Bullets general secretary Albert Chimgoga said Mhone is old enough to make a decision hence need to respect his choice.
“We had a talk with him and agreed terms and conditions to join Bullets, what remained was that he should relocate to Blantyre to start training with us but sadly we heard that he has rejoined Blue eagles”. explained Chimgoga.
Meanwhile the BB general secretary denied reports that were readily available on social media that they had already paid him K1 million as his sign on fee.
“as bullets family, we have accepted his choice since we just reached agreement and we did not give him any payment in regard to the contractual agreements.” narrated Chimgoga.
Earlier in March this year, Mhone asked his south African premier league side Jomo cosmos to cancel his five year deal on personal grounds.
