back-page-image2After being victorious over Mzuni FC on Sunday at Mzuzu Stadium, Silver Strikers  continued collecting maximum points in the on going TNM Super League following their victory over Moyale Barracks on Monday at the same venue.

Blessing Tembo’s goal in the second half was enough for the bankers variable three points away from home.

The bankers were a better side in the first twenty five minutes as the combination of Blessings Tembo, Green Harawa, Peter Wadabwa were classic but only failed to cut through the northern region side defense.

Moyale settled after twenty five minutes and wasted some clear chances through Deus Nkutu, Chrispin Fukizi and it ended goalless draw at half time.

Both teams started on high notes looking for a goals but both goal stoppers Blessings Kameza and Juma Chikwemba were heroes of the day saving great attempts.

When the match was going to a goalless draw, Bankers modfeilder Blessing Tembo made no mistake to put in net a well curved corner by Lazarus Nyemera.

It ended 0-1 in favor of the bankers who went to central region with six points.

The result means silver are now on position four after having twenty six points from sixteen games and they are nine points behind leaders Big Bullets, seven behind second place Azam Tigers and level points with Blue Eagles who are on third position.

Wanderers who lost to Civo United on Sunday have also same number of points with Silver Strikers but the Bankers have a better goal difference.
